Funding Opportunities

Wall Street West offers several programs to provide unique educational opportunities to our residents. Among these programs are the Innovation Investments and Gap Analysis Grants.

Innovation Investments

Innovation Investments encourage collaboration, action and investment from workforce development organizations, education, economic development partners and the financial services industry. Wall Street West is seeking proposals for projects that further the initiative's goals. Involvement from northeastern Pennsylvania financial services firms and organizations either as the lead application, members of new and existing partnerships or participants on advisory councils, is required.

Gap Investments

Wall Street West recently conducted a Gap Analysis, which acknowledged focus areas to better connect the available workforce with the needs of the financial services industry.  The region, like many others across the country has room for improvement, but with about 2,000 students pursuing degrees in the financial services industry, and over 63,000 students attending baccalaureate colleges and universities and another approximately 29,000 enrolled in community and two year colleges, many highly-qualified employees are in the education pipeline of northeastern Pennsylvania. Gap Investments were created to address the findings of the Gap Analysis.
