Workforce Investment Boards
Wall Street West/WIRED has partnered with five Workforce Investment Boards and their associated CareerLinks to disperse funds used for training costs, which will be matched one-to-one with WIBs funds. Through this program, the WIBs will set up at the very least minimal cost caps on Individual Training Accounts and standardize processes for dealing with both applicants for training and the training institutions. The WIBs are also creating regional standardization of policies, for On-the-Job or other Customized Training relative to Wall Street West, with the understanding that the longer term objectives would be to reach agreements for other Industry Clusters and/or Occupational Groups.
